Today was such. A. GOOD. DAY. Went for a long ass walk with my friends Trish and Nai, we took my beloved puppy Izzy to the dog park. It was her first time to a dog park and the first time I've let her off the leash to run. I was really surprised! She stayed pretty close and didn't snap at the other dogs like I thought she would've. After that my friends and I took Izzy to the pet store. Trish bought Izzy a dog tag (which I have been meaning to get for quite some time), simple silver rectangle with her name on one side and my phone number on the other.
Then we went to Trish's house and took a dip in the Grand River. Izzy did not like the fact that we left her on the dock. She kept jumping in a almost got swept down stream. Dumb ass. I still love her though. Anyway, Trish went to work and Nai and I got dairy queen.
Very good day indeed.

Ah, the grand river sounds like a wonderful place to swim! I went swimming there with my dogs a couple years ago, near the humance society after the walk-a-thon. One of my puppies tried to chase a dog that was on the other bank, and almost got swept away too.
